Park City Spring Break and Spring Grüv Activities

The end of the season festivities, however, are far from over and Park City’s biggest spring party is just about to begin. We are, of course, talking about the 16 days of free concerts and activities that encompass Spring Grüv at Park City Mountain Resort. From March 24 to the resort’s closing day on April 8, everyone is invited to come out and send winter off with a bang.  It’s simply Park City’s best Spring Break celebration – and it’s back. Warm sunny days, soft snow, free concerts, our annual Easter celebration and Utah’s best Pond Skimming competition come together for what may be the best two weeks of the ski season.

To help you navigate the sea of Spring Grüv activities in Park City, here’s our guide to the best of the spring festivities at the resort and around town

    • Ski For A Cause – Pink Park City
Saturday, March 24,  Join us for Pink Park City to celebrate life and raise money for all types of cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute. In addition to skiing and fun in the snow, the day will also include a costume contest, prizes for top fund raisers, and a Checkpoint Challenge. For more details and to register, visit Pink Park City
    • Music is the defining element of Spring Grüv and starting at 3 p.m. every day of the festival, performers will be taking to stages big and small at the Park City base area and Canyons Village. Headliners this year include Vista Kicks on March 24 and The Record Company on March 31 playing at Park City Mountain Village.  The days are getting longer, and spring après season in Park City officially kicks off with a twinbill of live music.

    • Easter in Park City
      Easter in Park City.
(Sun. April 1) – The Hunt for the Golden Egg all-mountain egg hunt returns! While more than 7,000 eggs scattered around the Resort will hold treats for all ages, those up for a real Easter challenge can look for any of our four Golden Eggs – each holding a very special prize that is worth the hunt. Kids ages 6 and under can participate in their own hunt in the Park City Mountain Village and Canyons Village, while kids older than 6 can find eggs on First Time Run, on the Park City side. All hunts start promptly at 9am.
    • 22nd Annual Pond Skimming Competition (Sat. April 7) – Whether your go-to spring skiing costume is an 80’s throwback, a sparkled-out tutu or something else you’ve been prepping all year; it’s time to bust it out and join us at Red Pine Lodge for Spring Gruv’s grand finale. Watch Park City’s 100 bravest – not finest – try to navigate the legendary 100 foot long pond skim pool and settle who really is the greatest of them all. Whether you’re one of the dozens competing, or hundreds watching, Pond Skimming is one of the best days of the year to be on the mountain. Followed immediately by our final Spring Gruv concert of the year on the Canyons Village Stage. Pond Skim registration opens March 1 at noon.
    • What about the Kids you Ask?  Don’t worry, there’s a full schedule of kids’ après activities, ranging from face painting to learning cowboy tricks and meeting birds of prey. Every day from 3 to 5 p.m., for the duration of the Spring Grüv festival, these special activities, crafts, and games geared specifically towards the little ones will take place at either PayDay Pizza (2nd Floor of the Legacy Lodge) or the Umbrella Bar (Canyons Village).
  • When the Sun Goes Down.  Main Street is crawling with bars, galleries, and eateries waiting to be explored, making it the epicenter of evening fun.
