The 46th Annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival 2015 will be held Friday, July 31, 2015 through Sunday, August 2, 2015 on Historic Main Street in Park City, Utah.  One of my favorite summer events, the Park City Kimball Arts Festival promises to be a weekend full of cultural experiences, with over 200 artists from 30 states, live music, kids’ activities, art demos, and great food from Park City’s finest restaurants.  2014 brought the highest number of artist applications to date with 900 applications; the jury hand-picked just over 200 artists, of which over 70 are new to the festival this year.

I’m looking forward to once again joining in the fun for a weekend of food, fun, frolic, art, and music, and over 30 live performances taking place on three different stages.

2015 Park City Kimball Arts Festival – July 31, Aug 1 & 2, 2015

This year there are over 70 new artists participating in the festival. There is a dynamic kids area with face painting, KSL kids booth, scavenger hunt, and various art projects and demonstrations including a community mosaic project. Start the day off right with complimentary yoga for festival attendees on the Zoom/Sky Lodge patio every morning at 9 am.

There are an abundance of things to do after the Kimball Arts Festival closes with Festival After Dark:

  • Sundance Institute in collaboration with the Kimball Arts Festival, is proud to present a free screening of Beasts of the Southern Wild on Friday evening, July 31st at 9:oo pm in City Park.  This screening is free and open to the public.  No ticket is necessary.
  • Deer Valley Music Festival & Utah Symphony features the 1812 Overture on July 31st, and Ozomatli with the Utah Symphony on Saturday, August 1st.
  • To kick off the weekend, the Kimball hosts a fashion themed fundraising GALA at the Montage Deer Valley on Thursday evening July 31st.
