One of my favorites no matter what time of year is hot air ballooning over Park City. The view from high above Park City is breathtaking, and being up in the sky at sunrise is one of my most memorable experiences. And, don’t miss our favorite fall activity, the Park City Autumn Aloft Hot Air Balloon Festival return September 16-18, 2016.
Golfing is great throughout the summer season, but especially breathtaking in the fall. You’ll spend much of your time just enjoying the scenery as you make your way around the 18-hole Park City Golf Club.
Another don’t miss this fall, Thriller at the Egyptian Theater! A ghoulish dance of monsters and maniacs, creeps and clowns. It is mystifying, mesmerizing, and morbid. An annual tradition and always a sell-out! I’ve got my tickets already, how about you?
The highlight of the fall season is Howl-O-Ween on Main Street. Bring the kids, “big” trick-or-treat bags and the dogs in costume and enjoy the fun and festivities on Main Street.
Park City scenic drives are my fall favorite! One of my favorite drives is from Park City, over Guardsman Pass, down to Midway, then up to Cascade Springs (one of my photos from last year’s drive to Cascade Springs), over the top on the Alpine Scenic Loop and ending at Sundance Resort for lunch. Don’t forget your camera, it’s one spectacular adventure. Plan an hour, or spend the day on one of the mapped Park City scenic drives from Park City to our surrounding communities, including Sundance Resort.
