firstsnowThe Word is…it’s going to be an early ski season in Park City!

Park City had it’s first snow storm on September 23, and it’s still snowing.  This only means it’s going to be an early winter in Park City and epic ski season.  With fall colors in glistening and snow already filling up our mountains, that only means winter has arrived early in Park City! It won’t be long now until our Resorts open for another amazing ski season.

Wondering how readers of SKI MAGAZINE ranked our Resorts this year?  Every fall SKI magazine’s highly anticipated Reader Resort Survey hits the stands ranking North American ski resorts as determined by its readers. Once again, SKI’s readers have officially declared their love for Park City’s two world-class resorts, and our ski town.

Deer Valley Resort (opens December 3) was named the #3 overall best ski resort in North America, and once again earned #1 rankings in the Service, Grooming, Access, On-Mountain Food, Dining, and Lodging categories.

And this year, the largest resort in North America, Park City Mountain Resort (opens November 18) earned the #13 spot for overall ski resort.

November is a surprisingly good time to sneak in an affordable ski vacation and Thanksgiving is a great time to ski Park City.  Park City Resort opens the base on November 18 and Canyons Village on November 24, the day before Thanksgiving, giving you plenty of terrain to explore over Thanksgiving weekend. So come share the Thanksgiving holiday with friends and family in Park City and take advantage of the lowest rates of the season and get your 3rd night free.
