The mission of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage. The RMEF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing elk habitat, restoring elk to native ranges, and educating others about wildlife and habitat conservation, and the value of hunting and our hunting heritage.

Vendors and interactive displays will be spread from the lower Cabriolet parking lot, up to the Canyons Village square. Elk Camp Opening Ceremonies & MTN Festival Evening Experience

RMEF’s traditional Elk Camp opening event, with a twist. RMEF will call the 34th annual Elk Camp to order and begin the weekend of festivities with updates from key organizational leaders, including program and project updates, special awards and more. The event will then move outside to inaugurate the first RMEF MTN Festival with vendors, interactive displays and headline entertainment.

Friends of the Foundation Breakfast

A long-standing Elk Camp tradition, Friends of the Foundation will feature a keynote speaker presenting compelling topics related to hunting and conservation. Enjoy a great breakfast with friends and learn more about what is happening with RMEF and our mission.

Spike Camp – Wild Harvest

Enjoy a scenic gondola ride to the Red Pine Lodge at mid-mountain for a casual and laid back Spike Camp event. This year we will be featuring and focusing on the Wild Harvest theme. This is the opportunity to hear from special guests like Shane Mahoney on philosophies and facts related to the harvesting of wild game and gathering of food. Take part in games and raffles and finish the evening with special live entertainment you won’t want to miss.

RMEF Volunteer Recognition Celebration & Luncheon

Volunteers are the life blood of RMEF and the RMEF Volunteer Recognition Celebration will serve to recognize the incredible accomplishments of chapters and volunteers across RMEF. From Chapter Awards to Individual Awards, this will be an afternoon dedicated to celebrating RMEF Volunteers.

EVENING

YETI Elk Camp After-Party

Following the Volunteer Recognition Celebration & Luncheon we will move the party to the DeJoria Center for the final evening of Elk Camp. We’ll continue honoring our RMEF Volunteers with a few awards, celebrate RMEF mission accomplishments, present our final short film premieres of the weekend and cap off Elk Camp with epic live entertainment.

Fathers in the Field Prayer Breakfast

The Prayer Breakfast is a long-standing Elk Camp tradition. This year we are pleased to welcome the Fathers in the Field program to lead the event.
