Quicksilver Gondola connecting Park City & Canyons Resorts

Quicksilver Gondola connecting Park City & Canyons Resorts

Vail Resorts is linking two of North America’s greatest ski areas – Canyons Resort and Park City Mountain Resort –  creating the largest ski and snowboard resort in the United States – Park City!  The combined resorts will now offer 7,300 acres of skiable terrain.

Connecting the Resorts is the Quicksilver Gondola, appropriately named for Park City’s storied mining history. The new 8-passenger Quicksilver Gondola will span over 8,000 feet and will connect the Silverlode lift base area (and Miners Camp) to Flat Iron Lift (at Canyons Resort) in just under 9 minutes. Quicksilver Gondola also features a mid-station with ski access into the Canyons side of the mountain on 3 new runs and gated access into Thaynes Canyon on the Park City side. It will offer beautiful panoramic views of Park City, Old Town and Canyons Village once completed.

The Canyons Resort is also part of Vail Resort EPIC pass Resorts.

Testimonials

Just what we were looking for!

We are a family of five and were traveling with another family and all wanted a place
where we’d have room to spread out and the option to hang and have some apres’ ski as well. Walk to the lifts was
easy. This place fit the bill just right. Each family had their own unit right next door to each other. Had three bedroom
units for each and they were very large, clean, modern, and very nicely furnished with all the comforts of home.
Outdoor heated pool and hot tub were a nice finish to the end of the day. Close to town and on the shuttle/bus route.
Staff was helpful and friendly. We will be back and will stay here again!

Great winter experience!

Spent a week at the Resort Plaza, Park City, Utah. It was a great experience. The staff at the resort were very helpful
and courteous. The transportation van was timely with good restaurant and shopping suggestions. Kudos to the staff
and manager. Pool was warm, Spa was hot and clean. Great winter experience.
