Great November Snow

Yesterday’s snow was the best November snow I’ve skied in a few years! Groomers were good, there were still a few fresh pow runs to have, and there was hardly anyone out shredding! I snuck off into the corner of the resort early morning and set up at McConkey’s lift. With the access being hard and the long cat track to the way down there was NOBODY around in the morning. A few friends let my secret out towards the afternoon and we had a few people enjoying themselves. I ended up having a little après ski at the bottom near the Ice Rink at Silver Mountain Pizza. I had myself a GIANT slice of pizza for lunch, and headed back out! I was trying to do some night skiing when I was cut short due to the SKI team practicing for an event coming up. There were even avalanche bombs going off while we were on the lifts in the afternoon. The flat light in the morning made it a little difficult to see but cleared up at about noon and made the rest of the day PERFECT! If you haven’t skied yet here in Utah, you are missing out! See ya on the slopes!
