It is SNOWing in Park City, that means it’s past time to have your skis waxed. I’ve already been out once, and hoping to get in several more days this week. For anyone that ever wanted to have a chair lift chair for personal use check out this auction http://www.kimballartcenter.org/ and click on the “Charity Lift” site. The Canyons resort has donated old chair lift chairs for an auction on December 17. The lift chairs will be decorated by artists and companies in Park City and the surrounding areas. Artists will receive 25 percent of the proceeds from their pieces and companies will designate 25 percent of the proceeds from their chairs to a nonprofit charity of their choice. Remaining proceeds will benefit education programs, year-round free exhibitions and events at the Kimball.
